Why can't I submit confidential information?

We hope you understand that Vileda may already be working on similar ideas to yours, and therefore doesn't want to take possession of information which may prejudice the securing of intellectual property, either yours or ours. When you send us enough non-confidential information, we can judge whether the area is of interest to us, whether we already have something going on in that area. If then we decide to work together, it will make sense to sign a confidentiality agreement to protect both our interests.

Why does the process take 3 months?

When we receive the information, we will immediately start the process of technical and commercial evaluation with the relevant people inside FHP. We will need to take account of existing work in the relevant area, and bearing in mind that nearly all of us in the company are very busy, 3 months is a reasonable time in which to get back to you.

For which product categories do we collect ideas?

We collect ideas for all globally operating business sectors of FHP: Floorcleaning, Laundry Care, Dish washing & wiping, Gloves, Professional Cleaning.

Who do we work with?

We have a strong track record of working with innovators and suppliers outside our company. We identify and evaluate their ideas, then together we leverage and convert them into successful fast moving consumer products in record time. We intend to do more, because the quality of an idea is more important than its source. We work with a range of organisations including: Academic institutions Large technology organisations Other industry sector businesses Technology brokers Small to medium sized companies Individual inventors

How is FHP´s Submission Review Process?

1. Once you’ve submitted your innovation, it will automatically be routed to the appropriate internal contact(s) so that it can be reviewed accordingly. The reviewer(s) will make the determination on our interest in the submission. If we require any additional information, we will contact you. 2. FHP will make every effort to inform you of our decision within 3 months. 3. Typically, personal meetings or phone discussions are not required by us to complete an initial review of your submission. In the event that we want to set up such a discussion, we will contact you. 4. Lastly, since we receive so many submissions, we usually will not explain the specific reasons for our decisions. Most submissions that get declined are done so for reasons of a) fit with where we want to take our business and brands, b) size of opportunity, or c) uniqueness of the submission. So, in the event your submission gets declined by FHP it isn’t necessarily a reflection of its quality.

Could I be a cooperation candidate?

We have a strong track record of working with innovators and suppliers outside our company. We would like to work together with academic institutions, large technology organisations, other industry sector businesses, technology brokers, small to medium sized companies, individual inventors and suppliers.

Can you give details about FHP's Submission Review Process?

Why do I need to be older than 18?

For a successful partnership both parties need to sign a contract. This is only possible for persons above 18 (according to German law).

Why do I have to register?

We need your address details in order to contact you for further steps.

Why is the attachment size limited to 3 MB?

For a non confidential disclosure a 3 MB file should be more than adequate to deliver all necessary information.

How will you honour my idea?

In case of a partnership this will be part of a negotiation process with you. We as a company, will make sure that both parties will benefit from the partnership.
